WALKING FOR FITNESS GROUP
The Logan District of Brisbane U3A "Walking for Fitness" group meets every Thursday (6:30 am in summer and 7:00 am in winter) in the top car park of Daisy Hill Forest Park at the end of Daisy Hill Rd, Daisy Hill.

Leader, Kev Woodward leads the group along a track in Daisy Hill Forest. Many friendships have been forged and happy chatter is heard on the walks.
Kev chooses different tracks each week and sets a good pace. Walking shoes and a water bottle are necessary.
At the conclusion of the walk the group enjoy a social time over morning tea. Alice always has a container of healthy muffins to share.
Besides the weekly walks in Daisy Hill Forest, you will be invited on longer walks if you wish. Here the group are doing the Gorge Walk on Stradbroke Island.

The Lemon Tree Walk. They walk in all kinds of weather.
Some of the members of the "Walking for Fitness" group. They are friendly and helpful and are happy to welcome new members so come along and get fit, make friends and have fun.
The group walk all year round and have a great end of year party at the tutors' June and Kev's home.
