We held our Christmas party at the Logan City Community Centre. It was well attended by members of U3A classes and groups from Logan District and Brisbane. There was entertainment and lunch provided by the members.

The Indonesian Class presented a few items in Indonesian including a fun rendition of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

The Ukulele Class provided music and Christmas Carols throughout the morning.

The English Country Dance Group got members of the audience up to enjoy a jig on the floor. There was lots a fun and laughter.

The German Class entertained with songs and carols.

The French Class also performed an item. Thanks to Kathy in the background for being the MC and organising the program.

The two Philosophy Classes also entertained.

Jean was presented with gifts and a big Thank You for establishing 34 classes with over 300 members/students for the Logan District of Brisbane U3A and being the convenor for the past 4 years. Jean is stepping down at the end of this year after working non stop for U3A. Well done!

Sheila and Josie helped with the lunch preparation.

Janet organised the catering and Trevor helped out in the kitchen and setting up the hall.

At lunchtime members mingled and met old and new friends.

Bill, from the Camera Club,  provided a video of many of the classes held in the Logan District during lunchtime.

Thanks to Kathy (left) and a band of willing helpers who helped organise the party: Kevin, Trevor, Chris, Bill, Michael, Josie, Sheila, Janet and Jean. Thanks to the tutors and members who provided entertainment. Thanks to the members who attended to make the party a success. Thanks to Chris from the Camera Club for taking the photos.
