X43 Travel Group

One of our bigger groups is the Travel Group, going from strength to strength. The group meets on the first and third Mondays of the month, at 11.00 AM at the Logan North Library, Sports Drive, Springwood. People talk about trips they've done, give travel tips and show wonderful pictures of all regions of the world. Sitting there watching, it's like being an armchair traveller. Here are some of the places members of the group have talked about.

Michael visited the largest desert in the world, in China

Caravan of camels crossing the desert

Sand as far as the eye can see
John was on a trip to the Cook Islands for a relaxing holiday. John, an excellent photographer showed us some amazing pictures from his trip.

What a great beach

A boat ride out to an island
Diane and Bill went on a river cruise on the Mississippi River from Memphis to New Orleans.
They travelled on the American Queen
Where they experienced fabulous sunsets
Desley went with Globus Tours on a trip to USA National Parks.

She captured seals
And visited Bryce Canyon in Utah
Anyone interested in coming along, please contact one of our facilitators, Sheila, Michael or Carol who will only be too happy to tell you more about this fabulous and growing group.
