Learning for Pleasure in the age of Leisure. Classes, Groups and Activities for seniors.

ABOUT US

U3A is a totally voluntary, self funded organisation providing a wide range of classes and activities for retired and semi-retired people, with many classes and activities to choose from.
Our aim is to use lifelong learning and volunteering as a stepping-stone to a brand new life. There are no exams and no awards, so attending classes/groups is a stimulating experience, with no pressure.
Our four terms per year coincide with the Queensland State School timetable.

Our staff and tutors are drawn from all walks of life and consist of university lecturers, business men and women, teachers and people who are simply passionate about their subject.

Here, we don't stand still, we don't look back wistfully, we plan our future, we make new friends and we learn new things.
